The Stone Collection by Shwood from Shwood Eyewear on Vimeo.

Check out the cinematography coming off of this new spot for Shwood's new line of stone eyewear. The new frames are cut from slate and laid over the classic Birch wood frames with hand-poured pewter inlays to round out the look. These things are monsters, but beautiful monsters. The entire line is limited to 200, so move fast on these. The swanky video effects and editing was handled by Joe Stevens.

Here's some new work out of the Will Bryant camp. He recently finished up the illustration work for The Secret Eater 2013 Compilation from UK label, Belly Kids. The cover art, stylistically, seems different to us (in a good way) than some of Will's other stuff, but it has that classic multi-colored feel that carries through the body of his work.

We also spent quite a bit of time digging through the Belly Kids site. They're producing some pretty interesting stuff. If you're into comics and music this might be a site to bookmark.

  • Wieden + Kennedy and the Super Important Test

Wieden + Kennedy recently deployed the Super Important Test site which further analyzes the ongoing debate of which side of the Oreo is better &mdash cookie or cream. The process is simple. When you get to the site pick a side, your answer will be analyzed and then followed up by one of several odd (and quite amusing) video segments thanking you and letting you know you made the right choice. Rinse and repeat for other results.

  • Wheeler's Dry Gin

Packaging design is always one of the most fun, and most challenging, types of projects to work with. When it's done right, though, it can be a thing of beauty. We're really loving this label for Wheeler's Dry Gin designed by Kristin Casaletto and co at Sasquatch.

The delicate botanical flourish coupled with the structured look of the compass rose (A nod to George Wheeler, a prominent figure in early New Mexico geographical history) off set each other perfectly. The real highlight to this label, though, has to be the silver foil typography and elements set against a jet black background. It's starkly perfect.

SEMI-PERMANENT 2013 TITLES from Danny Yount on Vimeo.

If you were one of the fortunate to have attended Semi-Permanent last week you likely noticed the titles that were done to support the event. The conference contracted the amazing talent of Danny Yount, whose portfolio reads like a who's who of film titling, to create a series of visuals for the event. Shot on a 5D MKII and built in After Effects.
