Check out the nice little branding package Portland designer, Lizzy Green, put together for her hubby, Dylan Thomas Green, self-professed “do-er of things7#8221;. We're really liking that logo and the integration of the initials into the spherical. The classic, original minimalist color palette does a great job of placing the emphasis on the branding where it should be. That clean look carries over into his tumblr-driven site (hey, go with what works) and wraps up nicely in a two tone-card that simply and directly announces what is up. Why say more than you have to?

Ah, arguments the way they should be - set to music (hey, any type of drum battle is okay with us). We were digging on this concept. It felt unusually fresh with its own unique take on relationship drama. The short was the master plan of LA-based actor and improver, Charlene deGuzman.

The Ceiling Janus from Fruit Bonus on Vimeo.

Chicago-based engineer, Ian Schneller, has created an upside down spinning double horn speaker. The effect it has on music being played through it is incredible. We some lush, Cocteau Twins, Slowdive and several other classic shoe gaze bands in that sound. The short was produced by Fruit Bonus Films, and you can see the full credit listing after the jump.

The DDC is back with a new set of their trademark hats. This round of solid, fitted, meshy goodness adds a huge variety to type of lid you might want to sport. For us, we want the blue one, the black one, the brown mesh one, the orange one. Yup, that's the one. More info on each of these beauties on the DDC merch store.

If there is one thing that New York has it's architectural beauty. If you're into checking out the beauty of buildings at all, then NY has to be one of the best places to be. We spent hours roaming that endless labyrinth-like streets trying to take in as much of that man made beauty as possible, and it stuck with us.

We were really excited to come across the Windows of New York project by designer, Jose Guizar. Each week Guizar selects a window design from the city and recreates it in the beauty of vector. He then posts the illustration along with the address of where the window exists within the city. We spent quite a bit of time just looking at the windows he's already catalogued. If we had one thing to add to the wish list for this site, it would be some type of Google map showing the location of the buildings he's already documented. Great work.

the Scared is scared from Bianca Giaever on Vimeo.

We came across this the other day and had to share. The Scared is Scared was created by filmmaker Bianca Giaever and does a wonderful job of capturing what happens when you ask a six year old to help you create a movie. We want this kid working with us at our studio.

Revolution ( Life Cycle of a Drop of Water). from chris turner on Vimeo.

Here's the life cycle of a drop of water as told in cut paper and stop motion animation. This short is the result of a collaboration between Chris Turner, Helen Friel and Jess Deacon. The cut paper and sets are fantastic and the animation is really well done. We were pretty quick to hit the like button on this little beauty.
