EVENT: Linotype: The Film

The C.C. Stern Type Foundry together with the 2012 American Typecasting Fellowship Conference joined forces to bring the Linotype film to Portland for an exclusive screening. The Linotype machine was the dominant force in setting type for nearly 100 years until it was replaced with offset lithography techniques. This film celebrates this amazing machine and its place in printing history.
