SPOTTED: Big Hands, Long Faces

This week's spotted piece is an oldie. It comes from the amazingly talented Sam Flores. This piece used to be on the wall opposite the front door of The Doug Fir, and was painted when Flores was still a resident of our fair city.

It was a gorgeous piece, and the fact that it was right there on the street where you could get right up on it and check it out was the shit. We're not sure whether the Jupiter got new owners or if there was just some bad decision making at work, but the piece was painted over with regular, white paint and lost to the city. We wept.
