Anchor Brewing Mobile Site Design

Fine Design recently finished working on the mobile site for Anchor Brewing. This was a follow up project to the full size site they re-designed earlier. The mobile design looks great and feels very integrated with their desktop design.

In an age where we there is such an emphasis on responsive design, it does feel a bit unusual to see an actual mobile site being developed. We also hadn't noticed before, but the full size site is anchored to the left-hand side of the page to accommodate tablet sizes rather than being responsive. This is a totally valid approach, but it's funny to us how quickly responsive design has become what we consider "normal". But then again, is there anything really normal in the web design field these days?
