Let's face it, Portlanders are shoe people. From the megalithic to the monolithic, open a window, toss a rock and see which shoe company you hit. They've all come to Portland and setup shop to bask in the glow of swooshville.
Personally, we're unbiased when it comes to the kicks that we spin, but what we do want is something slick and well designed. This short from Adidas shows the manufacturing process of their new running shoe, the Adizero PrimeKnit. The entire upper of the shoe is a knit single piece. In other words, seamless.
Supposedly by making the top of the shoe in one piece there is more control over the flexibility and support. We don't know all about that, but we do love this little promo piece done to tout the knit wonders. The video was produced by Adidas and just looks great. Now we need to add a pair of these to our wish list for the coming year.
