The Making of "Hero"

We just came across this phenomenal video of artist, Miguel Endara, at work. He's creating this stippled piece, entitled Hero, which is based off a photo taken of his father. The sheer patience that this must have required is staggering. The final composition ended up being some 3 million plus individual dots of ink. The fact that they documented this, and took the time to include the mo-graf overlaid dot counter, is awesome. We won't even go into the fact that Endara also filmed, directed and edited the piece.
