Animography is ushering in a new era of animated type and a new style of type foundry. Their typefaces, of which there are currently six, are all completely animated and built for immediate use within After Effects. Each typeface has a variety of options for controlling animation and each purchase comes with a completely layered After Effects file and a static, opentype version of the face.

If you want to try out one of their fonts to see how they work, Animography offers one of their faces essentially free. You can get Typogami for the price of a tweet (which is also a great marketing concept we haven't seen used before).

We love this new format and hope to see more of these types of forward thinking typographers.
