Woody Allen, Ridley Scott, Sofia Coppola, David Fincher, Gus Van Sant. It's a who's who of indie directors—each one virtually a household name. We've grown up with the works of these amazing creators, and been influenced by the stories they've told. A name you might not be as familiar with, though, is Harris Savides, a legendary cinematographer who applied his own vision to those of the directors he worked with. Sadly, Savides passed away recently, but thankfully, his work will live on. Check out this short to see some of his wonderful camera work. You'll be surprised at the range of films he had a hand in.
