Cut paper and paper craft has really been making a name for its self over the last few years. While it can be time consuming to produce paper-based work, it can yield some amazing results and really take your designs in a different direction.

We were surprised to find out, though, that there are a group of designers/artists that actually refer to themselves as paper engineers. A large portion of their focus is on using paper as a medium for design. Ghostly International and filmmaker Jakob Skogheim recently teamed up to do a mini profile on Matthew Shlian, one such designer.
