As a critical member of the Veteran Move Media leadership team, the Director of Social Media Video Ad Strategy is the marketing lead responsible for overseeing the strategy, creative, and account management. The ideal candidate is a creative strategist with strong execution skills who understands brand development, storytelling, and will use marketing analytics and data to make decisions.
Serve as department lead for big picture creative ad strategy
Provide leadership in video content, creative and brand strategy across all initiatives and deliverables, across multiple channels
Monitor, measure and analyze the effectiveness of content to enable continuous learning, program optimization
Partner with colleagues and stakeholders to define content, marketing, communications, and strategies and translate them into creative briefs.
Drive strategy and execution of brand marketing initiatives through video content storytelling, ensuring a consistent brand message across multiple consumer touchpoints including Facebook, Instagram (feed, Stories, IGTV) and YouTube
Build content calendars and strategy to align with Merch calendar, product and brand launches, events and activations, and other brand initiatives that require content and social media integration
Experience with new and existing social media platforms and a technical understanding of how to generate awareness and engagement
Ability to streamline processes and develop an efficient pipeline for asset creation
Actively participates in new business processes/presentations.
Creative mindset with strong knowledge of current and emerging social media trends
Extensive experience working as a Social Media Strategist with major brands in an agency or in-house environment.
Complete understanding of the video production process, workflow, and ability to speak the language in a production environment.
Is comfortable being client facing and has strong communication skills while representing the agency.
Minimum 8 - 10 years of content strategy experience including digital and social media
Minimum 3 years management experience
Proven ability to translate business objectives and strategies into creative video concepts across a variety of objectives (awareness, traffic, sales, etc.)
Ability to work independently and manage projects from inception to completion with accountability for goal setting and results.
Strong planning, project management, and interpersonal skills.
Expert level attention to detail

Salary range is $95,000 - $160,000/yr DOE
